Music video & Artwork project for the song "Wouldn't want it Otherwise" which I recorded a few years ago.

I gave myself the assignment to make a music video for this song with free stock footage only. I also didn't work on color corrections. Footage as is. I made the cover with Adobe photoshop. The music was edited with Real Band and Audacity.

I'm a music artis looking for a record deal. Here is my current single "Christmas In Hawaii" a parody of "White Christmas." I also placed semi-finalist with my song "Soul Searchin" in the international "Song Of The Year" songwriting contest where Dave Grohl, Alicia Keys, The Edge,Gwen Stefani and Lenny Kravitz were among the judges.

Electronic Press Kit: Sebastian Gamboa

Brought up on the world renowned Spanish island of Ibiza and influenced through his formative years by visiting House icons, Sebastian Gamboa started to develop his professional career in 1990.

He is now famous with his yearly compilations “Las Tardes en Ibiza” and “Vintage” that reached the Top sales in Spain.

From 2002, Sebastian was the resident at the hugely successful party “Balearic People”. In 2006 he commenced a monthly residency at Pacha Ibiza, working with Def Mix on Saturday nights, playing alongside Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. This developed into his own weekly residency the following year with his increasingly acclaimed Pacha Classics party every Sunday, later called Pacha Seduction. In 2011 he created his own party, called “Vintage by Sebastian Gamboa”, which was a success after being in places like Pacha Ibiza, Ocean Beach Club Ibiza, etc. Now is provided with a weekly residence every Friday at Lío Ibiza.

Sebastian can be considered somewhat of a musical maestro, having released 13 records and 15 compilations, including “La Vida” in 2006, his collaboration with David Penn on the label Purple Music. More recently, Sebastian has released the incredible solo project “Muévelo”, which was nominated by Deejay Mags Awards as Record of Year in 2008.

This accolade follows a series of nominations and awards, including winning the awards for Best Ibiza DJ at The DJ Awards 2007, Best Soulful & Deep House DJ at Deejay Mags 2009, Best Ibiza DJ at the DJ Oners 2001, Best Musical Compilation at Muchoticket.com Awards 2014 and the bronze award as the Best Graphic Campaign 2014 at the Ibiza Design Awards 2014 with Vintage.

Now an international artist, Sebastian spends his winters travelling to the most exotic corners of Asia, Europe, Africa and South America, showcasing his discerning brand of House music in some of the world’s finest clubs.

KING CRIMSON FEATURE DOCUMENTARY - "One of the finest music documentaries ever made" - WSJ

King Crimson have shared a trailer for the upcoming documentary about the band titled Cosmic FuKc.

The project is being helmed by Toby Amies, with a statement on the film reading: “In 2018, Robert Fripp commissioned a documentary to explore the meaning of King Crimson 50 years after the band was formed. What follows is an exclusive look at the making of that film.”

Aphotic Contrivance

For this commission, the Texas-based extreme metal band Aphotic Contrivance to design their album booklet and present creative direction for their first album. The band had previously developed their concept for the album and provided the images they wished to use. The photos I obtained from the band were raw and unedited, so for the completed design, I edited the photos, typeset all copy, and made all creative decisions. I have posted the raw images along with the finished layout for you to view the before and after.

The Weeknd Merch Pack

For this project I designed the entire album concept around the theme of the familiar childhood game “she loves me, she loves me not” because love can be found ephemeral when it is based on sheer lust and not genuine sentiments.

To advance this theme, I took photographs of original models from previous photoshoots which I edited, printed, and ripped into individual pieces to produce a collage. Once I collaged the fragments, I scanned and refined the images to use as one of the two posters that the consumer could choose from when purchasing the merch pack. From there I collected a few printouts of the poster and applied a die-cutter to die-cut paper rose buds utilized to form a paper rose embodying the flower used for the “she loves me, she loves me not” theme. With this rose, I took photos to apply on the jacket of the album and on the T-shirt design. For the CD slip, I used an origami technique to form a heart shape foldable wrap that holds the CD that’s stored into the album case. Within this final merch pack, the purchaser would receive a creative album, t-shirt design, and a preference of one of two posters.
