I worked on the brand refresh for West End Records, an American music record label that focuses on Electro, Disco, Garage House, Boogie, and Hip-Hop genres.
I had to simplify and modernise the logo, and develop a fun and modern aesthetic inspired by Keith Haring's illustrations. His illustrations were a big part of Paradise Garage, the iconic club in New York where West End's disco music was prominently played./ Logo

Japanese Music Band Migimimi Sleep Tight since year 2016 has joined Japan’s largest Indie Music Group “Space Shower Music”. Throughout the years they are daring to experiment with different styles of music. In 2020, we were invited to create a new logo based on their more mature yet still playful development. From the nature of their music, we used chunky wording design with dynamic figures, creating an identifiable and modern logo.

2 years agoGoodbye June Poster
This illustration honours Goodbye June, an amazing rock band from Nashville, Tennessee.
Cousins Landon Milbourn, Brandon Qualkenbush and Tyler Baker formed the band after the death of Tyler Baker's brother. This tragic event in June led to the name of the band today.
This print deals with this difficult memory with the illustration of an angel.
Having a death in the reflection symbolises that life can change in a flash, evoking the car accident.
The inspiration is also from the album's name 'See Where The Night Goes'.
We can see a journey in the sky portrayed with a sailor fishing stars, living an adventure helped by the angel.
There is a subtle mention of grief in the reflection of the man in the boat. It is of two brothers, one with the arm over the other, instead of what should be the sailor by himself. This is to show the love that remains. The crescent moon instead of the sail represents rebirths and new beginnings.
It was important to include nature in the print, because inspiration comes from being in nature, and is responsible for us being alive, also a link to Nashville’s beautiful nearby lakes.

The design of a series of four, digital-only pack shots and accompanying digital promotion for multi-award winning electronic music duo, Basement Jaxx. The collection of tracks comprises of unreleased, remixed and lost tracks between 1999 and 2009. To imitate a physical release, the artwork features analogue textural treatments that have been constructed and digitally coloured and composited.

We were approached by experimental ambient producers SAH to work on the layour for there double sleeve debut album.
We wanted to put the front cover as a focus, but use a powerful typeface and color pallette that represented the deeply atmospheric and nuanced themes of rhe album.

I chose the most traveling creature on our planet - the Arctic Tern to be the main symbol of the album artwork. Its semi-scientific depiction draws attention to the more abstract and mental side of "traveling".

2 years agoGlastonbury - Live At Worthy Farm
After having to postpone two years in a row; the world’s most iconic music festival was forced to go online for the first time in its 50 year history. Spanning 5 hours, featuring Coldplay, HAIM, IDLES & Kano, the event was one of the biggest and most ambitious online performances of the year.
We were tasked with creating an identity that celebrated the heritage of the event. Transporting the magic and mystery of the site into an online space.
We let the iconic pyramic shine at the heart of the campaign, working with a custom typeface that referenced on site engravings in the stone circle. Our work was paired with incredible visuals and performances filmed by Child Studios & Pulse Films.
The stream became one of the most-watched of the year, allowing a huge audience into one of the most exclusive festivals in the world when we needed it the most.2 years agoRoisin O'Hagan Artist Branding + Releases

Simultaneously to the logo design, I created the first concert poster intended for social media. The layout has to include the name, secondary information, and an image. From there, the brand started to form. The main elements are bright gradients that resemble jewel tones, funky text with a round sans serif for balance in the typography, shapes seen in modern designs, and concert-focused photography.

We were asked to develop the visual identity and social creative for London based record label LG105 and its associated playlist 'NOCTURNAL'. Named after the location of the labels inception (Ladbroke Grove) LG105’s visual identity had only scratched the surface of its brand story. In order to immerse ourselves in the process we carried out a fact finding exercise in the Ladbroke Grove area focusing on the iconic Trellick Tower and its surroundings to capture a range of visual references on film and digital.
Utilising our findings we created a range of new brand assets including animated iconography, grid systems, textures and photography as well as introducing a new brand typeface. These assets were then used across social creative to support releases, partnerships and playlist creative giving LG105 a gritty and unique brand identity.

We were commissioned to build the brand for electronic producer and DJ Ross From Friends’ new record label Scarlet Tiger.
The creative concept was born from the shape, form and movement of the Rubiks cube, manifesting itself into a dynamic motion led identity system that ensured the Scarlet Tiger brand made an instant impact in the ever changing music industry.

Worldwide’s newest resident
To coincide with the start of DJ ESK’s residency with Worldwide we were approached to create a dynamic and flexible digital brand identity for use across social media and streaming platforms.
Working collaboratively alongside ESK we carved up an own-able motion-led design system that allowed him to showcase interviews and tracklists to Worldwide listeners on a month by month rotation.
