Green River Ordinance

Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape the visual identity of Green River Ordinance (GRO)—from early T-shirt designs to full creative collaborations across album artwork, single covers, merchandise, and promotional materials.

In 2024, I designed the artwork for their album For Old Times’ Sake and its accompanying singles, balancing nostalgia with modern simplicity through distressed textures, film-like photography, and classic-meets-contemporary typography. I also created a vintage-inspired promotional poster featuring their signature cow skull logo and hand-drawn floral elements to support the release.

Beyond the album, I’ve contributed to multiple merch collections, including the 2024 line that blended bold typography, graphic motifs, and subtle Western influences. Across all projects, my focus has been crafting designs that resonate with fans and reflect GRO’s evolving sound and story.

Being part of GRO’s creative journey has been deeply meaningful, and I’m honored to continue bringing their music to life through thoughtful, cohesive visual design.

'Queen of Saturday Night' | Single Cover Artwork

For Limbo Days’ single Queen of Saturday Night, I developed visuals that channelled the song’s theatrical flair and late-night sophistication. The artist wanted a hand-drawn dreamy illustration similar Milton Glaser. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely on Notion, exchanging ideas and visual references to shape the final direction.

'Man on the Moon' | Single Cover Artwork

Collaborated with Manchester-based musician Limbo Days to do the artwork for a single cover inspired by the song’s narrative and emotional landscape. The artwork was built from hand-drawn mixed-media experiments, later refined digitally to create a cohesive, expressive final piece.

Luke aka Gardna got in touch with me to create a bunch of different assets to create designs for his releases and some merch. Double Drop Vol.2 - OntheCorner Records

Double Drop is a series of releases where the A and B sides each featured a different artist. For this particular release, the A side was Edrix Puzzle – Rise to Eris, while the B side was ThE DiAboLIcaL LibERTieS – Birds of Paradise. For this project I created the artwork for each side for both digital and vinyl release. Here you will see the final designs as well as some iterations.

Artwork for Flora - Johann Hedemann

Inspired by the lush, vibrant landscape of Hawaii, our design for Johann Hedemann’s album Flora is a deep dive into his island heritage. The album’s cover is a rich tapestry of native flowers, all featured in his previous single campaigns, creating a powerful sense of unity for this release. We extended this visual narrative to the vinyl discs themselves, which are splattered with white and blue, evoking the breathtaking colours of the Hawaiian sea. This comprehensive suite also included a CD wallet and a lyrics booklet, all carefully crafted to reflect Johann’s unique charm as a surfer-songwriter.

An experimental collaboration with my musician friend Peter Paasch, whom I got to know via @studio108.io the creative music studio.
Part of my ongoing artist visual series, this is an unofficial yet intuitive work shaped by the sonic language of his unreleased track.

Peter Paasch's music always stands out for its layered humor and narrative texture. This time, my synesthesia strongly kicked in—the moment I heard the track, I clearly saw colors and atmosphere in my head. The visual direction came together unusually fast.

Stimming x Lambert EP Artworks

For the Glühwürmchen EP by Stimming and Lambert, I was commissioned to create four visualizers and four artworks—one for each track—along with the EP cover. My goal was to craft an overarching visual narrative that would weave the tracks together, creating a transversal and esoteric journey. The story begins with a firefly emerging from a dreaming individual, guiding the viewer through mystical, otherworldly landscapes, and ultimately diving into the depths of dark, reflective lake waters.

Each visualizer and artwork peels back another layer of this dreamlike voyage, delving deeper into the subconscious. The journey culminates at the core of the self, where the lotus of consciousness blooms—a symbol of awakening and the essence of being. Through this visual storytelling, the EP becomes not just a collection of tracks, but a cohesive, immersive experience that invites listeners to explore the boundaries of dreams and self-discovery.

HIP DOZER COMPILATION VOL.IV

Hip Dozer is a french label
aspiring to represent a scene 
often reducted to the term lo-fi.

We achieved this by distancing 
the label from the visual stereotypes of the genre, removing typical imagery in favor of a bold, 
custom typographic system.

The visual borrows from many eras 
rearranging them the way a producer digging through records and reinterpreting samples. The inside 
of the record sleeve compares this process 
to a form of modern archaeology

'Americaz Most Wanted' Album Campaign

16*29 is the lost collaborative mixtape between rap duo Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. The project, which was meant to be accompanied with a US tour, was initially announced by Carti and set for release in late 2017, but never materialised. Having become nothing but a legend, I decided to design and develop an album campaign surrounding the tape, titled ‘Americaz Most Wanted’. According to the plot, Uzi and Carti are criminals who are on the run for projecting their influence in both music and fashion

Crafted the brand identity for Placebo Soul, the record label of Ghanaian Afrobeat artist Darkovibes.

Pola & Bryson Artwork

"Beneath The Surface" is a concept album created by the Drum and Bass duo Pola & Bryson. Their vision was to create an immersive experience that evokes the sensation of traversing various natural landscapes through each track.

The album's artwork was designed to complement the music, aiming to give listeners the impression of being on the loading screen of an open-world game, ready to embark on an adventure.

I chose an aesthetic that blends low-poly game assets with realistic foliage and assets, achieving a mix of realism and gamification.

I crafted six 'mini worlds,' each designed to feel part of a cohesive universe. These were used for individual singles, each accompanied by a corresponding animation to promote the music.

Mind Maps 5 CD album artwork

Artwork for a CD in an eight panel uncoated card digipak case and screen printed merchandise for part five of the annual Yage mix albums jointly released by Touched Music and FSOLdigital.

Like last year's Mind Maps 4, the background is based on just one satellite image — this time Pinacate National Park in Mexico from USGS on Unsplash. The wonderful natural colours go so well with the music, the yellows and dusky purple emphasising the acid sounds and darkness within the mix. 

The angled, modern building on the front cover evokes the mysticism of the Central American pyramids which ties into the satellite imagery location. A bitmap image of a mountain is a recurring theme throughout the artwork and adds texture and interest. The idea of map grid references inspired a graph showing track durations and the way the mix fits together. Squares indicate a Yage remix and circles show FSOL/Yage/Humanoid tracks.

As with merchandise for the previous Mind Maps albums, the designs are not just a graphic from the album artwork. The t-shirt and hoodie were available for a limited time and hand screen printed to order by Exalt T-shirts.

Holy Fawn, 2022-2025 Art Direction

Holy Fawn occupies a rare sonic territory between doom metal’s pulverizing heft and the ethereal breadth of shoegaze. Across their catalog, HF's sonic petrichor is rooted in sculpting idiosyncratic, lugubrious hymns - often related to the natural world and humanity's life vs. death interconnection. Since the start of 2022, I have been their art director and designer for physical releases.

Single Cover Artwork - ARAM | Shed This Skin

I created a cover for a single titled 'Shed this Skin' for the artist Aram. The design aimed to capture the concept of a shadow of a young person stepping through and spreading apart shimmering colors on either side, as if breaking through a curtain. The only color on the person should be the fire in the pupils of their eyes.' The artwork was inspired by one of my digital pieces, which is showcased on my social media platforms.

THE END — various artists

Artwork for the ambitious final release from Exalt Records… a triple vinyl compilation in six panel gatefold sleeve, double CD in custom six panel oversize digisleeve with spot silver foil slipcase, four single colour inserts for a set of highly limited dubplates, a sticker sheet and a screen-printed t-shirt.

Exalt Records started in 2003 with the intention of only doing 23 releases, with catalogue numbers counting down to end on 000. From inception the label was based around the concept of "23" — in numerology, the number signifies new beginnings, revolution and transformation. The brief was to keep the design simple and uncluttered with large, bold typography, similar to this KLF cover.

Rather than mourning THE END, I took inspiration from the new beginnings of the number 23 in numerology and came up with a simple circles/cells concept stylised with a "heavy grain" effect. The cover has one circle, representing a single cell, which multiplies over the rest of the artwork, doubling on each subsequent panel — the end isn't the end but a new beginning. The imagery contrasts with the title dominating the LP cover.

The triple vinyl comes in a six panel, gloss laminated gatefold sleeve, the full title visible over the front and back cover. The white spines separate each panel and each stage of cell multiplication.

The CD was released after the LP and continues the design rather being a smaller copy — each panel of the oversize digifile sleeve has a single, large letter which spells out the title over all six panels. Track listings are on the back of the CD wallets to keep the sleeve clean and minimal. The front and back of the CD slipcase uses silver foil as a tactile finishing touch. To contrast the LP sleeve, the slipcase, digifile sleeve and wallets are all finished with matt lamination.

Oceans Ate Alaska- Endless Hollow

Been playing this song on repeat for a while now. The riffs, vocals, and composition is all just so tight. Really unbelievable work by these guys.

I wanted to try my hand at making an alternative cover for the song in my own style. I aimed to capture some of the vibes of the music and bring the themes of the lyrics into play for the artwork. Not sure I was totally successful in capturing the song but I'm really happy about the artwork and how it all came together. It turned out really cool and I think it has some bad ass flavor paired with the song.

A Different Kind of Human for Secret 7"

'A different kind of human' by Aurora. 2024 contribution to the Secret 7” project, creating one-off edition vinyl single covers for some incredible songs and artists. This artwork was showcased alongside many great names, including Sir Paul Smith, Rankin, Cho Hui-Chi, Jamie Hewlitt and Rachel Whiteread. The sleeves were exhibited at the Now Gallery in London, and then auctioned to raise money for War Child UK.

Design for Kirk Degiorgio presents Blue Binary: Origins

Design for an album of gentle electronic/ambient music inspired by 1980s library music albums by Kirk Degiorgio under his Blue Binary alias.

The front and back covers evoke the style of 1980s library music albums in font choices and layout, complete with three word descriptions for each track by Kirk. The cover image is a time-lapse photo of stars by Parrish Freeman (with the centre point around the O of Origins) to reflect the space theme of the track titles

The inside panels design is inspired by the soft synth used to make the music, the Waldorf PPG Wave 3.N. I did a Blue Binary version of the Waldorf logo (the b in the circle is made of 1 and 0 as a nod to binary). A retro styled STEREO logo sits under the clear CD tray.

The 4 panel digipak case has a gloss finish to further add to the 80s library album feel.

Disturbed- Indestructible

Overview:

Disturbed’s Indestructible was one of the albums that got me into rock/ heavy metal back in high school. I’ve always loved this artwork by the legendary David Finch and I wanted to recreate it as an challenge.

I recreated the artwork in my own style while trying to stay true to the original. Once the artwork was finished I decided to expand the concept by recreating the design for the original CD and case, and then I repurposed the artwork for a poster and a 3 color screen print design for merch.

Approach:

I started the art out loosely replicating the original. I sourced free and open source images from the internet to create the foundation for the work and photo composited them together to create the character and scene. After the main features of the character were in place I used the original artwork as a reference to really try and replicate the design to the best of my skill. Many of the important details of the character I hand painted after.

Overall I think the artwork pushed the limits of my technical, observation, and painting skills and turned out exceptionally.

CD & CD Case:

This challenge was largely an effort to experiment with the process of print design for a CD. I have experience designing book sleeves and jackets so I applied my understanding of those processes and the technical features of print to this project. Using the original CD case as a reference, I repurposed the artwork and designed graphics for the back, designed the spine, and designed graphics for the CD itself.

Poster & Merch Design

After re-creating art and CD, it felt like a shame to not push the project even further, so I decided to stretch it to printed products. This felt like a really great opportunity to practice and something to think about for future client projects.

I referenced a poster design done for the original album release of Indestructible and remade it with the new artwork and updated fonts.

For the merch design, I wanted to prep the artwork for screen printing so I separated the artwork into a 3 color design and arranged it so it would look nice on a shirt or other piece of apparel.

Run

This track is highly anticipated as are Mozeys others! It's got a key vocal before the drop that goes "Run Run Run Run" and then the drop kicks in. I had an idea for this song for a few weeks and got round to making it once the song was released recently. The original artwork states a photo of the DJ with the text over it, but I thought that I would almost recreate him running to a DJ set with his famous glittery jacket on. This is what I done. I used multiple stock images to tweak and warp this all into one covert artwork and I'm very happy with the outcome.

Artwork for Covert 4 CD compilation (Touched Music)

Artwork for Covert 4, a 2CD compilation in card wallets with slipcase of exclusive tracks by anonymous artists for Touched Music.

Themes of video surveillance and subjects that have been pixelated/obscured/redacted are the design inspiration for the forth volume of this mystery artist compilation series. The ASCII art/pixelated style evolved from redrawing CCTV cameras and people using just four squares that contain between one and four lines. On the typography it is reminiscent of barcodes, tying into the tracking and identification aesthetic.

Down River - The Long Way Down (Cover Design)

I developed the illustration and design for the cover of Down River's single 'The Long Way Down', focusing on bringing the style of old comics to the tone and lines and leaving the background neutral to highlight the band performing.

Down River - Fall Into You (Cover Design)

I developed the cover illustration and design for the single "Fall Into You" by Utah band Down River.
One of the main points of the concept, was the idea of the vocalist falling inside a large monster, with an 'Alice's Hole' vibe, surrounded by elements that represent the band's history.
'Fall Into You' brings a new sound to Down River, an adventure into the new, without abandoning the past.

Artwork for Mind Maps 4 (FSOL/Touched Music)

CD packaging artwork and screen printed merchandise for Mind Maps 4, The Future Sound of London/Yage mix albums for charity music label Touched Music.

The Mind Maps artwork has evolved over the previous three releases but I thought now was a good time to give the design a refresh and introduce some new elements and reduce the use of others. The Mind Maps logo was revised and its prominence on the cover reduced, the custom font I'd designed is used in fewer places and the background is now mainly composed of a single cut up satellite photo of blue ice in Antarctica from USGS. The case is also uncoated card rather than the matt finish of previous Mind Maps so that even the feel is different.

Design for Off The Sky — Gently Down The Stream reissue

Design for the vinyl edition of Off The Sky — Gently Down The Stream on re:discovery records of this previously CD only 2005 ambient glitch classic.

The brief was to update the design of the original artwork. The more I worked on it the more I thought it would be fitting to make it distinctly different as a reissue on a new format. I tried for quite a while to make the new design work on white but it just felt too close to the original. The background colour is inspired by Kentucky Bluegrass that Jason mentioned in his description of the original artwork, the other colours are taken from the original 2005 sleeve and 2010 digital reissue artwork. The same elements are also used so it still feels like the same album — the font (Eurostile Medium), the wavy lines, the tiny orange triangles, the dotty crosses, the tiny bar graphic and I managed to extract the ear of bluegrass from the 2010 artwork. The background colour wraps around to the back where the track listing and credits float on a white background as a homage to the original art.

Radio Rock

Artwork for vinyl/CD for Morphology — Twelve (FireScope Records)

Artwork for two compilations — Twelve 1 and Twelve 2, released on CD (with foil print box) and vinyl for FireScope Records.

The concept is 12 tracks from 12"s from the first 12 years of Morphology, it was supposed to come out in the 12th month of their 12th year but due to vinyl pressing delays was late. The design is all based around the number 12… the title (Morphology12) is 12 characters, place the sleeves of 1 and 2 next to each other to make a 12 and on the covers the big numerals are made of 12 lines.

The albums were also released on CD and were available exclusively from FireScope Records. They both fit in a white matchbox style case (with holographic foil print) that came with Twelve 1. Each album came on two vinyl-effect black CDs, replicating the track listing of the vinyl, and are housed in card wallets.
