Let me take you back to the summer of 2020. The pandemic had struck and the UK was in the midst of lockdowns and restricted movement.

Vast swathes of the population were unable to continue working as usual, with many forced to work from the home, alone. No change for the creative sector then! We’re a weird bunch who lead a life of perpetual isolation… by choice.

It was during that time the electronic music double act Paul T and Edward Oberon got in touch. They certainly hadn’t stopped working. For the drum and bass duo were full steam ahead to get their debut album released. Some high-quality cover artwork was needed, of course.

Paul and Ed expressed admiration for my style of illustration, particularly my frenetic portraits where I feature a central figure surrounded by an array of colour and detailed decoration...
