We've produced two filter games for Snakehips' track 'Lie For You' featuring Jess Glynne, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Davido. This filter is the second level. The game is based on the video for the track which features and epic car chase. The aim of the game is for the user to move their heads left and right in order to steer the car and collect coins. 'Lasting Lover' was originally written by Lewis Capaldi as an acoustic song before Sigala worked his magic. You may also recognise the sample in the track which is from MGMT's 2008 hit ‘Time to Pretend’.

The game is based on the music video for the track which is set in a dystopian future and features the artists on a mission to thwart an authoritarian system, swerving through luminescent roads on an action-packed car chase. The game which is a fully playable Instagram filter allows the user to control the car from the video by tilting their head left and right. The aim of the game is to collect Snakehips globe coins in order to score points. The user must collect 10 coins per section to get past a closed gate. If the user manages to do so they will continue the game if they fail their face will be displayed in a wanted poster.
The idea behind this game is to encourage the user to play the game several times in order to beat their previous score. Incorporating the user's face in the wanted poster at the end also encourages the user to share the filter on their own channels.

We make all kinds of filters but gamified filters like this one are the main types of filters that we're focusing on at the moment. Adding a gamified element to a filter ensures that not only do users play several times but they're also encouraged to share which in turn encourages more people to do the same.

You will need quick reactions and fast thinking to avoid the increasingly perilous obstacles in your path, from exploding mines, to darting asteroids, all set to the soundtrack of an exclusive re-work of the Metronomy single I'm Aquarius by sound duo Baconhead.
Working in conjunction with Metronomy and their record label, Because Music, we crafted this game to tie in with the universe created by the I'm Aquarius single.

5 years agoCOVID fan community microsite for Larkins
As part of the wider release campaign for their latest release “Are We Having Any Fun Yet?”, label Good Soldier approached us to create a simple microsite that could engage fans. We created a microsite allowing fans to leave messages and thoughts in relation to their mood, and the release title as a question, all created to help create community feeling amidst the early days of the COVID pandemic. For the back-end we created a simple moderation platform to enable both the band and label to monitor fan messages, and publish them.
In the words of the band, Larkins:
"We wanted to create a platform for people to safely express their thoughts on when they’re asked the question ‘Are We Having Any Fun Yet?’ ❣️ This website is about sharing stuff that you might not want to in person. It’s also about celebrating thoughts and ideas that we might not always appreciate. Most importantly, it’s about understanding that we all have stuff in common.We wanna watch this platform change, adapt and evolve into something really fucking important. Please post responsibly. The follow video consists of Gameplay footage taken from the video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), using an Elgato HD game capture card using the Playstation 4 console. I chose the song Feels Like I'm Dying by The Amity Affliction to edit the gameplay to as the lyrics and instrumental stood out to me. Using gameplay footage and broll, stitched the clips together to the pace of the song and created a narrative to fit the theme and lyrics. In this video I wanted to focus more on the look of the video through editing rather than focus on the qulity of skill in gameplay. I decided to incorporate the use of Slow-Motion to highlight the feeling of the moment before death as per the lyrics suggest. The video was created as a passion project and as a tribute to the video game as well as to display my skills as a video editor with no intention of montization.

We experimented with some concepts for a full scale artist app that brings in social content, streaming channels, fan created content, e-commerce stores and social media for fans. We took a lot of the concepts and ideas from these experiments and now build them into our artist websites.

For the launch of the Genesis Owusu’s new song the client required a music video. The brief started off with the idea that the music video would have the look and feel of a video game. In the end it was decided that making the game would an interesting and new way to launch a new single. This is how the small third person runner game was born.
Being a two people team I was responsible for creation and design of assets for the environment and 3D modelling, rigging, motion capture processing and animation of all of the characters.

When Lex Records approached us to create a microsite for the reissue of NehruvianDoom, the collaborative album from heavyweights MF Doom and Bishop Nehru, we naturally jumped at the chance.
We were tasked with creating a simple, captivating microsite to act as a digital home for fans to engage with the reissue, showcasing merch, physical releases, and new artwork by the renowned illustrator Ghostshrimp.

We developed an social media platform for Warner Music and Gerard Way the singer of 'My Chemical Romance'
This product was a stand alone network for fans to create, customise, share, content with fans all over the globe. The network is acessible through native iOS and Android apps alongside a dedicated website. The platform allowed fans to like posts and comment directly, and also message each other directly to create a worldwide community. The app had over 40k users, 70k image and video posts and 500,000 user interactions.
