Amazon Music's +44 Album Season - Behind The Scenes

This project was created with Amazon Music's +44 and Forward Slash.

We worked with some of the brightest UK Black music talents to recreate some of the most iconic album covers from the scene's history. This includes: Lady Leshurr as Missy Elliott, Kojey Radical as Kendrick Lamar, Young T & Bugsey as Outkast, Shakka, Enny and Kojey Radical as the Fugees and Shakka as Craig David.

My role was to direct and capture all the Behind The Scenes footage on the day for each shoot and edit that footage into a 1-minute video for Amazon Music's +44 Instagram page.

I also created a >10-minute video focused on the crew members and extra footage of the talent on that day too.

Dancing on Tables Behind the Scenes

Dancing on Tables have recenty signed a deal to work with Pat Magnarella and are re-releasing their track "Oh" and they invited me along to capture the behind the scenes fo the shoot.

I went for a cinematic feel for the main video but I also shot some short slow motion teaser clips(Not attached) and a home video styled behind the scene video (attached)

Supergroup, The Jaded Hearts Club, featuring members of, Muse, Blur, The Last Shadow Puppets, Jet, Nine Inch Nails, and The Zutons. Came together to put on a show dedicated entirely to the Beatles held after Muse’s Chicago tour.

Featured members: Matt Bellamy, Graham Coxon, Miles Kane, Nic Cester, Sean Payne, Chris Cester, Jamie Davis. Let’s just say, it was a long, memorable night.

Of Empires – Baby Darlin' Sugar

Documentary style video filmed over 2 years in Brighton, Guernsey & Metropolis Studios, London. The video was playlisted on MTV Rocks & featured as a 'video of the week' on MTV.co.uk – also featured on the Dr Martens blog.

The video was edited from over 15+ hours of footage shot over 2 years, following the band during the writing process through to recording sessions with producer Ian Davenport (Band of Skulls, Demob Happy, Supergrass) at Metropolis Studios in London.

Alongside filming I shot documentary stills and conducted several photoshoots with the band. My close relationship with the band allowed a unique style to develop alongside my creative direction and design work for them.

A four-part series showing the personality behind the music for up-and-coming artist Graft. Graft is a Leeds based artist who won Mobo's Unsung Award 2019 and is won the BBC Three series, The Rap Game Series 2. The documentary aimed to highlight the artist's background, what inspires their music, and to show off their music also. This is a short BTS produced by myself to document the BTS for one scene.
