Andy Grammer

I had the chance to design merchandise for Andy Grammer and Gavin DeGraw’s 2016 co-headlining U.S. tour. While most of the designs were tailored to Grammer’s branding, I also created a few select pieces—like a co-branded t-shirt, poster, and keychain—that combined both artists’ identities to create a unified tour aesthetic. These designs featured a bold, high-contrast look with vibrant colors and modern typography.

One standout piece in the collection was a neon-inspired illustration of Grammer’s beloved French Bulldog, Lucy, which appeared on t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories. This playful design quickly became a fan favorite, perfectly capturing Grammer’s fun, uplifting vibe. He even praised it during a Facebook Live session, sharing his excitement with his audience.

The design’s impact went beyond merchandise—it also made an appearance during Grammer’s halftime performance at the 2016 Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving game. The artwork was featured on the stadium screens, seamlessly integrating merchandise with stage visuals. This helped elevate the tour’s overall visual identity, turning the merch into more than just a souvenir, but an extension of the live experience itself.

Green River Ordinance

Since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape the visual identity of Green River Ordinance (GRO)—from early T-shirt designs to full creative collaborations across album artwork, single covers, merchandise, and promotional materials.

In 2024, I designed the artwork for their album For Old Times’ Sake and its accompanying singles, balancing nostalgia with modern simplicity through distressed textures, film-like photography, and classic-meets-contemporary typography. I also created a vintage-inspired promotional poster featuring their signature cow skull logo and hand-drawn floral elements to support the release.

Beyond the album, I’ve contributed to multiple merch collections, including the 2024 line that blended bold typography, graphic motifs, and subtle Western influences. Across all projects, my focus has been crafting designs that resonate with fans and reflect GRO’s evolving sound and story.

Being part of GRO’s creative journey has been deeply meaningful, and I’m honored to continue bringing their music to life through thoughtful, cohesive visual design.

The 02DATRAP® Sharingan Fitted Caps were designed as a tribute to the legendary Lake Elsinore Storm Caps, which were synonymous with the UK grime scene during the early 2000s. This concept was inspired by the iconic Sharingan sound effect from the Naruto anime franchise, which is used by BACK2DATRAP producer Bally as his producer tag throughout Lancey’s mixtape. 

This capsule was created in partnership with Years of Tears, a London based punk brand owned and run by Lancey’s close friend and fashion designer, Slik Syd

This t-shirt design for rising country-pop artist Anna Vaus reflects her West Coast roots and heartfelt storytelling style. It serves as both stylish merch and a visual extension of her music, capturing the dreamy yet grounded essence of her artistry.

Oditi fka as Prospect 100 live merchandise competition for Masego's Glastonbury debut.

Being a huge fan of Masego's music and style, I wanted to design something that was minimalistic yet catchy and slightly different from usual merch. Using traditional colours from Glastonbury's logo, my concept is inspired by my take on retro jazz - combining a minimal illustration with a backdrop of jazzy piano keys to demonstrate a love of music and make the 2024 event memorable.

I also created a social first video ad to support and advertise my submission on social channels.

Wasted Death - Season Of Evil Album

Had a hell of a lot of fun creating this album illustration for Wasted Death. Zombie hordes, toxic waste leaks, post apocalypse vibes galore, my favourite! It was particularly enjoyable drawing the band members within the artwork. I took inspiration from the classic Romero movie posters with a big zombie head as the central focus, the blue skin zombies from Dawn of the Dead and then the surrounding elements in typical b-movie fashion. 

Also adapted for a one colour t-shirt print and promo gig poster design.

Since the products of “Sour Graphik” based on its own illustation works musicality, each product has its own secret story by the original sound track. In order to present those stories in a multidimensional way, featuring with our Brand Representative who is a indie hip-hop singer - Marcxs. To manifest a chill-out style, its illustrations mainly concern the bad things we meet in our urban daily life. It makes use of trendy Japanese aesthetic elements to depict such “sad but cool” urban vibe, hoping that people will find them relatable, and feel cool using those products.

Merchandising | RedFall Haze

As a designer for a rock band's merchandising project, I created designs for t-shirts and tote bags that aligned with the band's image and music style. I researched the band's history, genre, and aesthetic to come up with unique and eye-catching designs that would appeal to their fans. I included circus references and lyrics from their songs and I also incorporated the band's logo and name in the designs to enhance their brand recognition. The final products were high-quality and visually appealing, featuring striking graphics and vivid colors.

Nextrade is an Indie Rock band from Tokyo, their music influenced from explosive visual rock. We were tasked with the job to design a series of merchandise for their concert. We wanted the include Japan’s J-Rock cultural elements to their products with thoughtful designed manner, with the intent of continued use even after the concert.

Migimimi Sleep Tight / Continue To Love / Merchandise

Japanese Electro Rock band “Migimimi Sleep Tight” has their latest album [Continue To Love], the central theme for this album is based on a summer urban love story, inspired by the 80’s music from the orient , a refreshing contemporary creation of modern beats and techno sounds. Through deciphering the music we used imagery of blooming flowers under the violet skies to present the urban love story. According to the theme of the authentic local cultural promotion, the conception of print has come from the historic street where Macao people always go around there by transportation, utilizing the element of manga and the motorbike with a time capsule, walking through the street from the present to past, manifest the cultural changing within few hundred years.

Ex Machina Limited edition Steelbook DVD case for Universal Pictures. 

One of my favourite films of all time (my dissertation was mainly about it), it was a dream to be able to do an official illustration set for them for this product. The two contrasting designs are based on the film’s themes of isolation, identity and Mary’s room thought experiment.

Idles Poster

The illustration shows a man sitting on Clifton Suspension Bridge, a landmark from Bristol, the city that gave us IDLES.

They may come off as wild with an aggressive sound, but the band tells meaningful stories about addiction, alcoholism, grief and challenging toxic masculinity.

This illustration takes direct inspiration from the band's song "Samaritans" from the album Joys as an Act of Resistance, lead singer Joe Talbot sings about a "mask of masculinity".

This is why the man in the picture is literally taking off a mask, showing his true, vulnerable self, just as the band does in their modern post-punk, brutally honest musical style.

The Libertines Poster

This illustration is a tribute to the Libertines. A rock band that formed in 1997 in London's Camden Town by frontmen Carl Barât and Pete Doherty.

The Libertines were praised for forming a very close relationship with fans and would put on secret shows. 

The illustration represents what would be left after one of these guerilla gigs after the police would break it off, leaving a lucky few with lifelong memories of intimate proximity with the British duo.

There is also a nod to where the Libertine's got their name. They were inspired by a controversial erotic work by the Marquis de Sade called The Lust of the Libertines written in 1785.

Goodbye June Poster

This illustration honours Goodbye June, an amazing rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. 

Cousins Landon Milbourn, Brandon Qualkenbush and Tyler Baker formed the band after the death of Tyler Baker's brother. This tragic event in June led to the name of the band today.

This print deals with this difficult memory with the illustration of an angel.

Having a death in the reflection symbolises that life can change in a flash, evoking the car accident.

The inspiration is also from the album's name 'See Where The Night Goes'. 

We can see a journey in the sky portrayed with a sailor fishing stars, living an adventure helped by the angel.

There is a subtle mention of grief in the reflection of the man in the boat. It is of two brothers, one with the arm over the other, instead of what should be the sailor by himself. This is to show the love that remains. The crescent moon instead of the sail represents rebirths and new beginnings.

It was important to include nature in the print, because inspiration comes from being in nature, and is responsible for us being alive, also a link to Nashville’s beautiful nearby lakes.

Logo rebrand and merch launch for London duo WAHL

I recreated the logo for London duo WAHL to reflect their new direction. The brief was to create something androgynous and skate-aestehtic inspired, for use online but also to be applied to a new line of merch. I had great fun working with typographic themes to built a new logo based upon characters and the symbolism of "two". We explored different angles that would reflect the duo being more than the sum of their parts, whilst also still representing the two members all the same. This included the use of infinity, ampersands, doubling symbols into pairs and an overall aesthetic of symmetry and balance as if one always reflected the other. I took inspiration from skateboarding street aesthetics and Japanese typographic design, knitting together a new universe of symbols in a colour pallette ready for social media as much as it was for print.

For our friends in Oracle we produced album artwork, merchandise, logo design and mockups for merchandise and physical releases. All of this is part of a four single campaign with an associated merchandise range upon release of the final singel and start of the tour which coincides with this release.

This project will recieve updates with work for the social media compaign and animations when they have been released.

We were lucky to collaborate with our new freinds in LVCRFT. They had a concept which we absolutely fell in love with as soon as we heard it and we knew it was a concept which we had to see through.

Sad State of the Art' T-Shirts & Longsleeves

Going with a dadaist approach adopted in the 1980's by punk rock and heavy metal, I spent many hours cutting and pasting this shirt design together which was then followed by several more hours of digitally tweaking the levels of the scanned files until they were ready to be "posterized" into a black and white print.

This comission from the band, Misanthropic Rituals, was originally only meant to be a 3-colour shirt design, but they liked the final product so much that they decided they will use it for their upcoming album. I dove in head first to this pen and ink project and did not stop until my creative boundaries were pushed to the limit.
