We wanted to make the Fatboy Slim concert at Alexandra Palace feel like a huge festival! We got creative with an old-school campervan photobooth, with Fatboy Slim stickers and graphics. We also made some deck chairs and hung up flags with lyrics from his most famous songs.

We celebrated the culmination of 25 years of this iconic duo with a special edition box set.

We wanted to create a playful Artwork that represents the energy of GA’s music, using fun dancing characters for the cover and colourful doodles throughout the artwork.

The GA25 boxset includes a double CD, 2-side LP, 32-page booklet and 12"x12" poster.

Migimimi Sleep Tight / The Massive Market

Once again, we are delighted to be able to create an album packaging design for Japanese electro J-POP band “Migimimi Sleep Tight” under the banner of Space Shower Music. From their musical development, we can perceive the experimental nature of “The Massive Market”. Beyond using the mixture of English and Japanese lyrics, the music’s style produces a wave of Japanese American Funk and Future Bass, with Chinese lyrics adding further flavour, highlighting the feelings of metropolitan love story. In order to be able to display their amalgamation of ideas, we devised an eye catching colour palette and illustration to picture an urban trance of modern tunes.

Miyagawa Iren - LNP Records

On this first album package for Japanese musician Miyakawa Iren, we placed importance on being visually appealing to a broader audience. After thoroughly listening to the album many times, we decided upon the fantasy illusionary imagery to interpret Iren’s musical perspective and present it to the world, allowing the listeners to experience a musical fantasy odyssey.

Ozric Tentacles - career retrospective books

The latest in the Ozric Tentacles book sets I have designed is 'Trees of Eternity (1994 - 2000)' a 7 remastered Disc, 72-page Hardback Book containing 6 studio albums and the never-before-released Live at Fillmore, 1998. At the heart of this deluxe set is an in-depth book containing original liner notes by Dominic Blake, words from Ed Wynne, previously unseen photographs, rare content collected from band members old and new, personal artefacts from close associates of the band.

'Trees of Eternity' follows on from 'Travelling the Great Circle', the previous book which covered the first four full albums, from Pungent Effulgent and Jurassic Shift, a demos and rarities disc, the live Underslunky release, as well as the 1991 filmed concert from the Fridge in Brixton on DVD and a bonus disc of remixes.

Royal Blood Poster

For this illustration of Royal Blood, the talented English rock duo formed by Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher, there are references to Brighton, where the band is from.

The Royal Bengal tiger is coming into the city, stepping over  Brighton Royal Pavilion in a psychedelic haze.

You can read the band's name in the deconstructed tiger's stripes, which also stands as a reference to the structure still standing of the pier which burnt down in 2003.

US indie label Waxploitation is released a new single called "Badman Party (freestyle)" from Jamaican dancehall artist DeeWunn. 

The artist has a love of old-school dancehall posters and wanted this freehand aesthetic to flow through his artwork.

Working with another designer, StudioPensom launched FACT magazine back in 2004. It was seven inches in size, and the launch issue came inside a 45RPM slipcase. Over the years we commissioned many great artists, designers and illustrators for the magazine. Copies were available from record shops, and usually sold out on the day of release.

The Nerve CD Cover

I was commissioned to help bring The Nerve's album cover to life based on their initial ideas. We wanted a fun, colorful visual that included the car wiith a woman tippnig her martini glass out the window while flying down a desert road. The rotoscope illustration style was also discussed in lieu of a more photo-realistic approach.

We shot the car with the model in a studio setting, afterwhich I used it for the illustrative composite. This included design of the logo and the sign with the marquee. We added a few tongue-in-cheek references for the fanbase and locals.

The final cover has been well received and was also the basis for a poster. The Nerve continue to work with me on various projects.

Emergence' Promotional Collateral

I designed these posters and postcards to promote the debut full-length album and display a few of the top press highlights the album received from some heavy-hitting media outlets. This project emphasizes my eye for layouts and my ability to creatively utilize brand assets.

Emergence' Eco Wallet

After the first pressing of 'Emergence' sold out, Basilysk needed a more eco-friendly package for a physical copy that would cost less to produce and thus be able to be sold at a more affordable price specifically for international fans. This new compact edition boasts a revisited album cover and an all-new inner layout with full creative direction and execution done by me.

This comission from the band, Misanthropic Rituals, was originally only meant to be a 3-colour shirt design, but they liked the final product so much that they decided they will use it for their upcoming album. I dove in head first to this pen and ink project and did not stop until my creative boundaries were pushed to the limit.

Emergence' Jewel Case Edition

My greatest collection of work can be found within the first pressing of Basilysk's 'Emergence' album. I explored so many new mediums while working on this project which I feel made me twice the artist I was before I started it. From oil to collage to homemade tempura paint to clay, I was able to give each song on this album a unique, visual representation that reflects the "mixed media" nature of the band's music. All work created 2017-2018.

This version of the album has been sold out!

Sad State of the Art' T-Shirts & Longsleeves

Going with a dadaist approach adopted in the 1980's by punk rock and heavy metal, I spent many hours cutting and pasting this shirt design together which was then followed by several more hours of digitally tweaking the levels of the scanned files until they were ready to be "posterized" into a black and white print.
