Huge names for any showreel - but where did it all start?
A few years before the launch of CC, in 2010, the explosion of lyric videos began when Ceelo Green's smash hit Fuck You was blowing up at radio faster than his team could shoot a full video.
Often also known as a pre-video, it has now been viewed a cool 35 million times.
Soon after, labels and managers worldwide saw the benefits of releasing visuals more quickly, ahead of an official music video, and lyric videos became commonplace.
Creative Commission is ideally suited for helping with motion projects: our combination of our in-house lightning-quick commissioning techniques and the animation super powers of our animators has resulted in commissions for some of the biggest names in music for many years.
So, in no particular order, here's a list of our favourite lyric videos we've helped commission since 2013 with a huge well done to each creator and a big thanks to the labels and managers trusting us to deliver.

British rapper Little Simz, signed to AWAL, needed an animated lyric video for her latest track Rollin Stone. With an incredibly tight turnaround required Steve was approached based upon his folio's creative direction.
