Welshy - 'Haiti' Social Media Strategy

2020 saw Welshy post a unique piece of TikTok content - sampling a rugby ball into making a full track. The result of this track was what would soon become 'Haiti'

The demo from TikTok blew up, both on platform and across Soundcloud and YouTube, prompting Insanity Records to sign Welshy as an artist, with Haiti being the first single.

Insanity Records approached me to help them turn a viral demo into a fully-fledged campaign and successful record on social - and through utilising storytelling content (see key links), viral content and more, the record now sits at over 11M streams on Spotify, 12M views on the TikTok sound and has achieved Gold status in Ireland, as well as seeing a huge bump in followers, views and engagement for Welshy as an artist project.
