Karol G – MTV Awards Performance
Stage Visuals for LED Walls & Floor | Tokyo Neon Theme & Sound-Reactive Design
Overview
Commissioned for Karol G’s MTV Awards performance, I designed and animated a full suite of stage visuals across both LED walls and a reactive LED floor, collaborating closely with Pixel Kartel. The visual direction followed a high-intensity “Tokyo Neon” theme — inspired by cyberpunk aesthetics, digital signage, and Y2K-era futurism — all crafted to amplify Karol G’s on-stage presence for a global broadcast audience.
Role & Tools
Role: Visual Designer, Animator, Real-Time FX Artist
Tools Used: TouchDesigner, After Effects, Adobe IllustratorVisual Style & Concept
Drawing from Tokyo’s illuminated cityscape and glitchy digital culture, I built an animated environment packed with scrolling signage, reactive kanji forms, LED grid structures, and pulsing neon elements. The visuals were programmed in TouchDesigner to sync tightly with the timecoded track.
The end result was a multi-layered visual performance — a fusion of music, choreography, and motion design — that transformed the stage into a vibrant, futuristic city.
Process Highlights
-
Developed a cyber-Tokyo design system for both LED walls and an LED floor.
-
Built a TouchDesigner patch that triggered sound-reactive animations from a timecoded track.
-
Created loopable modular assets with bold, brand-aligned styling.
-
Delivered optimized media and visual sync for live TV broadcast conditions.

Central Cee - Cant Rush Greatness Tour Visuals
Central Cee – Can’t Rush Greatness European Tour
Tour Visuals for Multiple Tracks | Sam Lisher Ltd | 2025
Overview
For Central Cee’s Can’t Rush Greatness European tour, I was commissioned to create bespoke visuals for several key tracks performed live across arena venues. Each scene was designed to reflect the mood and pace of the song it accompanied, using a blend of 3D animation, real-time visual effects, and stylistic world-building.
Role & Tools
Role: Visual Designer, Animator, 3D Artist
Tools Used: Cinema 4D, TouchDesigner, After Effects, Photoshop, AI-generated texturesVisual Style & Concept
Each track featured a unique visual identity:
-
Satellite Scans & Blob Tracking (Shepherd’s Bush Cityscape)
Using 3D scans and satellite imagery of Shepherd’s Bush, I built a stylised London city environment layered with a TouchDesigner blob-tracking system, inspired by CCTV and cyber-surveillance aesthetics. -
Windows 95–Inspired Environment
A lo-fi, branded world built with 8-bit dithering, limited colour palettes, and nostalgic UI elements, styled around a fictional Central Cee–branded Windows 95 operating system. -
Rush Visuals – Fast City Montage
A fast-paced, motion-blurred cityscape using rapid transitions, camera sweeps, and glitch effects to visually convey the pressure and tempo behind the “rush” of the tour. -
Graffiti Warehouse Interior
A moody, atmospheric warehouse setting textured using AI-generated graffiti walls and rendered with spotlit interiors to reflect the slower, darker tone of some of the more introspective tracks.
Process Highlights
-
Combined real-world satellite data and photogrammetry with stylised 3D world-building.
-
Developed a TouchDesigner blob-tracking patch for real-time reactive movement.
-
Modeled, lit, and animated multiple environments with custom typography and transitions.
-
Created a 3D model of Central Cee’s hand-drawn logo for stage decoration and branding.
Outcome
The visuals toured across major European venues and formed a core part of the stage experience for one of the UK’s leading rap artists. Each video reinforced the identity of the song it accompanied, offering a cinematic and brand-aligned visual narrative that evolved throughout the show.

Lamb Of God Tour Visuals
Lamb of God – Album Tour Visuals
Animated Stage Content Based on Original Album Art | Live Metal Tour Aesthetic
Overview
For Lamb of God’s album tour, I was commissioned by We Are Hive to create animated stage visuals that brought the band’s original album artwork to life. The goal was to retain the grit and impact of the original illustrations, while transforming them into dynamic, motion-driven content that could drive the energy of a full live metal performance.
Role & Tools
Role: Animator, Visual Designer
Tools Used: Cinema 4D, After Effects, PhotoshopVisual Style & Concept
The band’s album art is known for its dark, layered, textural aesthetic—I deconstructed these elements, rebuilt them in 3D, and added camera movement, parallax depth, and visual effects to create a series of animated environments. The visuals were designed to sync with the band’s setlist, moving between intense buildup sequences and breakdowns that matched the music’s aggressive pacing.
The animation style remained true to the tone of the original artwork, preserving its hand-crafted feel while adding motion, scale, and energy for the LED screen format.
Process Highlights
-
Translated static album illustrations into animated 2.5D compositions.
-
Used parallax techniques and layered textures to enhance depth on large LED displays.
-
Timed visuals to match tempo shifts and key moments in the band’s performance.
-
Delivered optimized visual assets for multi-panel LED playback across tour venues.

Westlife Dublin Tour Visuals
Westlife – Dublin Tour Visuals
Animated Visuals for Live Arena Performance | Bold Colour & Evolving Sea Scene
Overview
I was commissioned to create bespoke motion visuals for Westlife’s Dublin tour, delivering content for multiple tracks performed across a large-scale LED stage setup. The visuals were designed to amplify the energy and emotion of the live show, using bold colours, dynamic pacing, and narrative-driven animation sequences.
Role & Tools
Role: Visual Designer, Animator
Tools Used: Cinema 4D, After EffectsVisual Style & Concept
For one of the songs, I developed a bright and vibrant visualiser, tightly synced to the music's rhythm. Using colourful patterns, pulses, and fluid transitions, this piece brought high-energy movement to the performance and matched the band's stage lighting design.
In contrast, a second track featured a more atmospheric and evolving narrative: an open sea environment rendered in 3D that began with choppy waves, thunder, and rain, gradually transitioning into calmer waters and a clearing sky. The visuals were built to mirror the emotional arc of the music, giving the audience a cinematic sense of resolution and uplift.
Process Highlights
-
Designed bold, beat-synced motion graphics for LED screen playback.
-
Created a 3D animated ocean environment with evolving weather systems.
-
Used Cinema 4D and After Effects to achieve stylised realism and performance-safe playback formats.
-
Delivered visuals formatted for multi-panel stadium LED setups.

It was a great pleasure to be invited once more to work with video designers Yeast Culture on the 'Light Stories' live show for cellist Matthew Barley in 2024. The show premiered at the Southbank Centre, London in September and since then it has been travelling around the UK and Europe.
Working closely with Yeast Culture, cinema iloobia created a 70 minute dual-screen visual journey to accompany the live show 'narrating Matthews search for meaning in music-making and how, in time, he came to heal past wounds'. A beautiful project driven by a lovely team of creative people.Commissioned by Yeast Culture.

1 year agoFlowidus Tour Visuals
The brief was to create 6 visual loops and an intro for Flowidus, an Australian DJ Duo.
The client wanted impactful, futuristic visuals, dripping in neon colour and bright lights, that would transport their crowd to another world.
The aim was to design a specific style of character that would define the look of this visual show, feeding the futuristic neon vibe and housing visuals within the face to up the ante. We then coupled the character videos with fast-paced and intense tunnels and flashing sequences that keep the energy high throughout.

We wanted to create something that would 'wow' and excite the audience when they saw it. Having the figures look as though they're popping out of the screen adds so much to the experience on the dancefloor!
We also wanted to hit as many notes of the 90s rave design aesthetic as we could, with the aim of transporting a new generation back to this heralded era of music culture.
Our project debuted at Drumsheds, the UK's premier warehouse venue, housing over 15,000 people and boasting a huge screen for visuals!
