Obscura

I've been inspired by this technique for a while now and finally got the opportunity to make my own experiment.

The idea that we sometimes wear a metaphorical mask has always intrigued me.

It usually comes about when protecting others around us or as a defense mechanism for our selves.

The technique involved covering the model with paint almost like painting a 3D canvas and in post remove all the skin tones, leaving you with this floating sculptures.

The following are some of my experiments.
