Crawling King Snake

I was Approached by former frontman of the South African rock group, Taxi Violence, to create the artwork for his new solo project called Crawiling King Snake. The album was titled, Firts world problems, Third world country.

I decided to go ahead and build a French Colonial inspired lounge set in the middle of a very torn down field and using a main character to tie it all together. I dressed the model in a suit and then wrapped him in clingwrap. This was to illustrate the contrasts of having a 1st world mentality in a 3rd world reality. Wanting luxury, but basically living behind bars to protect material posessions. Then in post I added fire to the mix. This was to ask the question: How much are you willing to sacrifice to persue your dream.
