Limit Posters

Limit are a force to be reckoned with in the Leeds club scene. They play festivals up and down the country and are responsible for an eclectic mash of bookings from Roman Flügel to James Zabelia, covering all areas and styles of four to the floor music. We were very excited to be asked to be a part of such an important club night when we started creating posters and live visuals for Limit events.

We theme our designs differently for each venue that they use and we often craft the live visuals using elements of the poster designs throughout the show. We also animate the majority of the design we create for this brand.

We wanted to create an aesthetic style as broad as the musical tastes of the people who run it - we decided early on to use a similar mindset to the artists making the music, as long as there is a solid grid (beat) behind the image (track), anything is acceptable if it carries the LIMIT logo. In this way it is the same process as choosing tunes for a DJ set; if the grid or the kick drum is the same, they’ll work together even if they’re at opposite ends of the spectrum.
