Oscar Wyndham Lewis is an award-winning British artist and animator based in London. His animation career took off at the Royal College of Art, where he earned his Master's degree in Animation in 2016.
His graduation film, "The Waves," an oil paint-on-glass animation, did very well on the international film festival circuit and also clinched the prestigious Scottish Mental Health Arts Prize in 2017. It also earned a coveted spot on the BAFTA shortlist in the same year.
Since then he has continued to make work on the subject of mental health, focusing on expressionist portrait painting at a studio in France for two years. He returned to the UK in 2018 with a large body of work which exhibited in both group and solo shows in London.
He has also continued to make animated short films and music videos which are often done using hand-drawn and hand-painted techniques.
Currently, Oscar is in the midst of crafting his second short film project with Joseph Lovett and many of the formidable 'STHTJ' team.
