Most of the time, when we see something we name it and by doing so believe that we have understood its purpose, importance, and qualities etc. We file it and move on to the next. This way we never grasp what we were really looking at in its depth. When we stop, and just look an endless source of urban and natural galleries open up to our minds eye – wordless, everywhere, in everything and alive - an endless story.
I am driven to bring such natural compositions into sight, awakening the seeing to small things such as scratches of rust or marks of usage that has found its life through the transformation by time and by nature itself.
Allying with such forces I frame the exsiting and unpreceived with my camera, balancing, natural light, contrast and angle to compose a moment in time.
