Aakash Prabhakar is a Filmmaker, Actor  Writer, and a Theatre Director who runs a Film and a Theatre Production company of his own by the name of Here And Now.  He is an alumni of The Drama school Mumbai and New York Film Acadamy.

He made his first feature film “Freddie’s Piano” in 2019. 

Freddies Piano, which he directed and acted in was in the official selection of the New York Indian Film Festival 2020 and 20 other International Film Festivals across the world.

The film won the Best Director Award for Freddie’s Piano at the Indian Film Festival Of Cincinnati , Best Film Jury-  Indigo Moon Film Festival , North Carolina and several other awards.

He has directed, produced and acted in over 50 theatre productions that travelled across the country.

Apart from acting , directing and producing films and plays, Aakash extends his storytelling expertise to the corporate realm. He consults with startups and corporations, offering  insights on crafting compelling content and seamlessly integrating effective storytelling into their work.
