The animated music video for 'Cógelo Suave' by Brooklyn songwriter Xenia Rubinos features multi-coloured frogs manically performing the sometimes nonsensical vocals.

Inspired by the Coquí Frog. Puerto Rico's national animal, this tiny tree frog has a very loud 'singing' call.

Another example of a tight and literal lip-sync theme appearing in my videos.

It's also another example of the joy of working with a musician of whom I'm already a massive fan.

The jolty delivery of the vocals and the staccato musical components are battling with beautiful sustained backing vocals. The video represents the rollercoaster ride of the inside of our heads and a panic stricken society.

The lyrics (those that are coherent), share an uncertainty with the self-assurance of one's mental health. The incessant, sudden deliveries of each vocal line is matched with the anxious, suspicious and confused frogs and highlighted with a super quick edit.

Despite the underlaying serious theme, it's clear the video is fun and comical.
