One Of The Boys

This was a dream project. I love animation and I am very very angry at the last few rounds of attempts at government, including the current one for largely similiar reasons.

This was actually commissioned through CC but on my old account that I have since been locked out of. The band had asked for animation in the style of Have I Got News For You. I told them with the time and money involved full frame by frame British satirical cartoons were not a very practical route, but we could do a pretty good collage animation with After Effects.

I also warned them that I would very much like to go hard after the politicians featured. For those of you not interested in/effected by British politics, these are all wealthy Conservative Party figures, three of which were Prime Minister.

This was made using a combination of techniques I had already used on a few corporate client jobs before. The content was obviously very different, but the process was exactly the same.

It was a fast turnaround, all completed in about a week, but I had a lot of fun and I would be blessed to do it again.
