Consensus - D.U.N.E

This is the second video I made for Consensus' debut album. The D.U.N.E is the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. it measures subatomic particles from the sun, and how they interact with "conventional" matter.

I wanted to try a technique I had been laying the foundations for over the previous few months. Various aimless After Effects experiments had led to some interesting visual textures that, when combined with pixel filtered footage of the performance created this.

Uncunsciously I think I was also influenced by an episode of Bill Nye that a rogue enclave of brain cells had insisted on defending at the back of my mind.
