This was great fun to make, and all very roped together between other projects, housemates, and whenever we could get the time.

I met Consensus at the pub, and we had a long fun slightly drunken conversation about science, animation, and music. That then led to two videos for his album, the first of which being this.

The big machine prop was actually a leftover from a previous project. It weighed a ton and continued to haunt me for the next two houses I lived in.

I followed my gut on almost every single decision made to create this, although I will also habitually take any and every opportunity to draw from Shin'ya Tsukomoto's Tetsuo the Iron Man, the clearest example being the stopmotion takeoff sequence at the end.

I love DIY garage sci-fi projects like this, and despite being a couple of years old now I'm still quite proud of it.
