THE SHOPWINDOW - ALBUM LAUNCH TRAILER

Lead singer Carl had a rough idea of what he wanted stylistically, hinting back to the Evacuate music video treatment. This gave me the basis to find and mold footage that worked in this theme. Then it was a case of building a structure around a script. Carl drafted that up and I made it work by streamlining and making it to the point but entertaining. Another pal Matt Bancroft then added his character to the script, lifting from his West End experience in The 39 Steps, the read worked beautifully.

Then to editing the song parts including never-before-seen footage and the videos, and Bob's your Uncle... Huzzah!

The 'Coat of arms' thumbnail, the opening coloured bars, the music videos and the and the mix were all created by me in Photoshop and After Effects.

For the love of the music, It's always great to work with your mates, especially when they're so creative. Be even better if they had a few quid! ;-)
