EYES WIDE SHUT - THE SHOPWINDOW

Carl & Syd from the band - EWS is about secrets, having a crush on someone but never being able to admit it. Wondering if they may have felt the same thing but never knowing.
For the treatment of EWS, as with so many projects, time and budget give you your creative parameters. But as always I take the lyrics as inspiration, my starting point. I had an idea to shoot but we opted for stock footage instead (Artgrid), thankfully I found a great creator (Hans Peter Schepp) who'd used the same actors in several scenarios, and I was able to edit them in a way to create a Love Triangle.
Adding to this is the use of mirrored imagery, and an eye icon matted to invert clips to Black & white to bring attention to the emotion and conflict with the characters.
