Sony Xperia 1 Launch Video

Background:

The Xperia 1 uses the highest quality tech in its screen display, mimicking that which is used in professional film making – hence its 21:9 wide screen display. Sony will be bringing this high quality experience to everyone whilst also driving this product into the professional film industry.

Challenge:

Create a sizzle video for the launch of the Xperia 1 phone, that will get people excited about the product and the brand. Must fuse together existing launch content to create an impactful and energetic piece. How can we showcase everything the Xperia has to offer?

Solution:

An impactful and energetic sizzle video that takes you on a parallaxed journey through the different Xperia worlds. Clusters of 21:9 frames were used to build different features (worlds) of the phone across multiple planes, transporting you from one world to another with smooth, gliding motions on both the x, y and z axis. The epic soundtrack combines with the visuals and motion, resulting in a video that gets the crowd pumped!
