The Malthusian Trap | Pleasure Room (song.1) | Artwork

I created the artwork to be inkeeping with the song's music video. The gasmask is an extremly relevant and strong image, given that the song was released at the tail end of the lockdown measures enforced to tackle the Covid-19 epidemic in 2020. I used a toxic green colour to encapsualte and reinforce the idea of a toxic environment, further reinforcing the current events.

I used a photograph taken of the band's front man, Damon Foster while we were shooting the song's music video. Using Adobe Illustrator, I then vectorised the image and removed the pictures background. I wanted to cartoonise the photograph to add an attractive quality to the songs artwork.
