A music video was created with emotive cinematography at the forefront, using a stripped back approach to convey the raw emotion of the narrative. With inspiration from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks being a strong factor in Aisha’s “Invisible Girl” this, along with an essence of film noir and 40’s-50’s styles were used as the driving force behind the art direction. The addition of crisp red lighting worked as a visual representation of the hurt and pain, which when combined with the dark, shadowed backgrounds help convey a sense of isolation and detachment.
