• Travis Smith, born February 26, 1970, is an American graphic artist working out of San Diego and is possibly the most fashionable, and unquestionably one of the most talented, graphic artists in metal today.
• During his career to date he has designed well over 300 CD/DVD/Vinyl covers and packages and countless t-shirts, posters, brand logos, access passes, hats, scarfs and various other pieces of merchandise.
• Travis has done work for many of today’s established rock and metal bands, most notably Avenged Sevenfold, Death, Opeth, Katatonia, Nevermore, Opeth, Anathema, Devin Townsend, CKY, Soilwork, King Diamond, Strapping Young Lad and Riverside.
• Travis masters various design styles ranging from photography, drawing, painting and of course reworking it all beautifully in various computer programs.
• Travis has expert knowledge of important design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Painter and all the various common file types for production can be easily supplied.
• Travis is great at communicating between artist, management and record label, understanding their needs and deadlines, resulting in a clear vision for all involved which he can then translate masterfully onto a piece of unique art.
