Skunk Anansie ‘I Believed in You’ Background:
This was an exciting video to direct for Skunk Anansie for the track ‘I Believed In You’. The project combined live action performance and experimental drawn animation and mask and costume making. I hand painted a costume for each of the band members so they could appear almost as painted skeletons and we filmed the band in two states. One with traditional clothes and one as painted characters. The shoot and the process of making the work was very high energy. I have included images from the original pitch I made to the band, the making of and the final video.
