Mort

The poster and supporting collateral I illustrated/designed for a theatre adaptation for Terry Pratchett's 'Mort'. 

I love designing posters. To me they sit at the heart of good design – as an artist they’re a blank canvas, as a communicator they’re the keystone of a brand. If you’ve successfully distilled your message on a poster then it will translate effortlessly across any other marketing stream – social posts, banners, adverts, direct mailers, the applications are near endless.

I grew up with my mother working from home as a freelance designer, painstakingly handcrafting, among other things, posters for theatres, so there’s a sentimental connection when I sit down to create a theatre poster, a process I enjoy immensely.
