CONCEPT: Composition and movement were vital elements for this video. Using a 4:3 frame and vast empty space to draw focus to Newcoast’s movement and styling. My vision was to create a hazy dreamscape aesthetic, using bright, poppy colours to match the vibrancy of the track. The movement is the focal point, and the use of choreography helps create dynamic shapes on screen. The artist interacts with the camera, bringing it in close and pushing it away. I wanted to create a high-energy video that reflects the song.
