Refugio Skate Farm is a skateboarding brand that celebrates the rural lifestyle. It is located on a farm that houses several animals, and one of its most popular mascots is a dog named Peralta, a tribute to a skateboarding legend. The illustration style is inspired by classic skateboarding art from the 1980s and also pays tribute to the roots of skateboarding culture.
The illustration's linework was done by hand using pen and paper, and then the artwork was digitized in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for finalization.
The "Dogtown Style" illustration will be featured on Refugio Skate Farm's merchandise, including t-shirts, skateboards, bags and posters.
