Music Video "The World We Live In"

This video was shot on location with 2 days of prep and 1 day of shooting. Minimal, intimate crew size with the artist under a tight schedule while the artist was on tour in Banff.

The VFX in this video are seamless and featured throughout without being seen. From the infinity wall on the edge of the earth to animals and album artwork, it is all integrated organically using what was availalble in the environment on the day of the shoot.

This video was a follow up to the video HUMAN by the same director and artist. It visually matches the grandeur of the former but with opposite temperatures and color pallet.

The goal of the video was to create a strong emotional dimension for the track, juxtposing the upbeat rhythms of the song with surrealism and drab imagery that still manages to sell peace and comfort in the process.

When I shot it I imagined it was the band returning to earth 1000 years in the future. Everything has decayed just enough to be recognizable.
