Artwork for Jake Sherman / Burr St. Orchestra

Burr St. Orchestra is a project helmed by pianist Jake Sherman. For ‘From Time To Time’, they wanted a timeless artwork reminiscent of vintage jazz covers that also referenced the title of the project. The album consists of unique spins on covers of classic jazz fusion tracks.

When we were mixing the album, the sound we were going for is “like a classic old album that’s been remastered.”

A fitting analogy for the direction of the cover. The result is a piece that feels of a different era, with the vintage type and composition.
