Ed Sheeran 'Memories'

For my Major Capstone Project, I designed a collectible sleeve and advertising campaign for Ed Sheeran. The record comes with a set of collectibles including set of rise printed stickers, posters and postcards. The front cover remains plain so it can be customised using the stickers provided to create a personalised 'scrapbook' cover. 

I designed a motion for the digital streaming services and advertising. This shows the stickers laying onto the plain cover, showing it's customisability. 

To make the design interactive between printed and digital media, I designed social media filter so users can take the blank cover and add GIFs and stickers digitally. I also created an AR feature so the motion can play when scanning the sleeve design on Artivive. The main focus of my research and project was exploring the user experience when using vinyl or listening with streaming services. My conclusion is that the experience is best when using different layers of interaction - having the physical tactile cover, but linking that with the digital world through AR. This appeals to a Wye audience and bring a new dimension to interacting with music physically.
