Dead Oceans Website

Working with their internal team in Austin, Texas, we provided digital art direction and development for the Indiana and Texas based independent record label, Dead Oceans.

With a rapidly outdating site representing their eclectic range of artists and their releases, Dead Oceans approached us to work with them to design and build a new bespoke replacement site.

With the previous site being extremely convoluted to manage thanks largely to a badly structured and overwhelmed content management system, we went back to basics. We built a new site for them, powered jointly by a bespoke WordPress system and API we built to tap into their existing artist database which we implemented to help power other sub-labels subsequently.
