DIRECTION FIRST — a brand film built from written rules

A brand film made to settle the visual decisions before anyone shoots. This is the studio's own release: the direction is the deliverable. Palette, type, cut rhythm and the way light behaves were fixed first, written down, and then executed — so the film, the stills and the type all read as one house rather than four separate jobs. What a commissioner gets from working this way: the look is agreed in writing before production, revisions stay small because we are not renegotiating taste at the end, and every later asset — single, tour, merch, social cutdowns — can be produced by anyone against the same rules. Remote delivery, English and Japanese. Direction first, production second.
