Hans van Raam was born in the Netherlands in a small town named Badhoevedorp on the 8th of April 1960.

After playing theatre at some local theatre groups he went to the Amsterdam Pantomime School which he finished in 1980.From 1982 until '86 he travelled Europe & Canada with the theatre company "The Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" where he performed street and bar-theatre acts, music and improvisation-theatre. To be more independent he bought a theatre-tent with his former girlfriend. Aside the performances with "The HorrorBrothers" and the children's theatre group "Toys" he arranged performances with poets, sketches and music theatre. This was also the time he started to design to promote his projects.

Because of his interest in camera-acting he took a course at a private camera-acting school in Utrecht in 1986. He played various (quest) roles in tv series and industrials.

After a combination course in acting-directing and producing in 1990 at the Cinevideo studios in Almere he got his first assignment to produce and direct an industrial. He completed a radio-reportage for the VPRO radio about the authentic Canarian Music.(Canary Islands) and started working on short movies.

Thanks to a job at Hoek en Sonepouse audiovisuals he got more acquainted with several computer programs like Sonic pro DVD authoring, video and audio editing, like avid, final cut, after effects and soundforge, encoding, graphic design, like Photoshop & Illustrator and subtitle workshop. 

Since then he's been working as a production manager, producer, director, designer and actor for various television, industrials, commercials, webpages and theatre-programs.

During this period he also developed video & theatre workshops for children, teenagers and adults. Thanks to his computer knowledge and communication skills he started taking temporary IT jobs when short of money. In 2000 he set's up his one man production company All Matters. 

His clients so far:  Hogeschool van Amsterdam, National Geographic, Academie van de Stad, Video op Maat, Discovery Channel, Wim Pel productions, Amsterdam Councel. Police Amsterdam, Hartryan Productions, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Polyblend Fachadas. TROS TV, ESA, Seven Seas, Otush Ready, SP video editing, Landslide, Collina productions, Salvation Army, MnrB Productions, Miranda bad.

Thanks to covid a lot has changed. During this period he finished part one of his Children's book and is writing on the second part as we speak. Last year (2021) Webhelp Barcelona contacted him for an TIC job at Google but realizes he doesn't want to do this forever...
