Our team have a diverse background and experience in the entertainment industry encompassing professional camera operation, adaptable live audio capture, immersive motion graphics and creative editing.

We have worked with an eclectic range of clients; event managers, festival and conference organisers, bands and artistes and other clients in the entertainment industry.

thisisB grew out of passion for Brighton’s music scene and work with some of the world's leading communities in social media music, Sofar and Balcony TV.

David Elphick developed entertainment TV programmes that promoted the Brighton music scene that broadcast on Latest TV, a community channel in Brighton. In that time David interviewed and managed live music session shoots with Alabama 3, Fujiya & Miyagi, Lakuta, Quantic, Beardyman, DJ Shadow and more.

This lead to opportunities working on multi-operative production contracts with Brighton Music Conference and Mammothfest as well as live music video commissions for Town of Cats, This Party, Seadog and more.

Not long later business partner Steven came on board, and word of mouth lead to video production projects with events management company Black Fox, a promotional video for local wine distributors English Wine Box and promotional work for UK music industry conference, Live UK.

Currently thisisB run the Brighton productions for Balcony TV and Sofar Sounds. This not only involves visual and audio capture, but the planning and orchestration of underground events further highlighting our ability to take on complex production requirements.
