I’ve been working in the creative industries for over 20 years; the first 10 with music production, the last 12 as a cameraman, editor and colour grader. During this time I’ve worked freelance, and as an employee for various production companies. Work which covered England, Scotland, New Zealand and Australia. I’ve worked on a diverse range of content; short films, music videos, live sporting shows, events, brand campaigns, broadcast shows and documentaries.

Working for companies such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, IRN BRU, Scottish Power, Footlocker, AFL live  (Australia), The Glenrothes, Highland Park, The Macallan, Edinburgh Gin, STV amongst many others. My work often involves creating and delivering premium content, this could include working as a solo Self Shooting Director / Cameraman, or as part of a small or large team. This would include pre production, arranging shoots, premium lighting, audio, post production, editing projects, colour grading, asset delivery across multiple formats in different aspect ratio’s, and media management and storage.

During the pandemic I set up an edit and grading suite to work from remotely. I shoot with a Red Epic 6k and Blackmagic 4k cinema camera. I’m skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve. You can view many examples of my work via my website.
