Lesego Motsiri believes himself to be a patient, hardworking, determined and creative person. Born in Klerksdorp in the North West province, he currently lives and does his Fine Art practice in Bloemfontein, where he did 4 years of training in B.A. Fine Arts and worked at The Johannes Stegmann Art Gallery, the University of the Free State as an art gallery curator, student assistant. In 2018 - 2019 he also worked at DigiTV - GreyTV as an assistant content producer and team leader. 2016 - 2018 he was the proud co-founder and chairperson of an art-based association at the University of the Free State, called the United Free State of Mind and voluntarily worked with Vryng, at the Free State Art Festival as a freelance social media marketing agent. In 2016 he was nominated to take part in the District Six 50th Commemoration Print Exchange, hosted by District Six Art Museum. In the same year, he made it to the semi-final of the Sasol New Signatures Art Competition, and his print was selected by Phatshoanehenney Attorney, for their 2017 calendar. Lesego Motsiri has been hosted at the Johannes Stegmann Art Gallery_ University of the Free State, annual student exhibition. In the same year (2017), he had a solo exhibition of 21 artworks at the Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein Art Gallery, titled The_Black_Season_17. In collaboration with Motlatsi Khotle's (choreography), Lesego Motsiri's works premiered at Nrnest Oppenheimer Theatre (Welkom) in 2017 and the Ernest Oppenheimer theater (P.A.C.O.F.S) in 2017, 2018 and 2019 titled; Black Season. “I am a committed and goal orientated individual who believes that: one is to work hard to achieve; one is to always be focused on the objective and be willing to go the extra mile in helping others. I am determined to achieve the best results in all I do”.
