Description 2
Lex Lapp (she/her) is a Los Angeles based writer and director. Her work focuses mainly on investigating class, bodies, and familial dynamics. Bouncing between music video, narrative and experimental, Lex's work is interested in the collision of these learned definitions, using them to research how she fits, or doesn’t, into American cinema and ultimately challenge the systems built before her.
The time Lex spent in New York studying at NYU Tisch School of the Arts allowed her to explore the theatre working at spaces like St. Anne's Warehouse, The New Ohio, and Ars Nova.
Her transition to LA has lead her to film partnerships with LAMF (Cora Bora SXSW), Echobend Productions, Greta Creative, Little Cinema and more.
