DoP/DIRECTOR/OPERATOR – COMMERCIAL/BRANDED/DOC

For the past decade, I have been operator, director of photography and director in this crazy collaborative and creative field. Since getting my first mini-dv camera in the late 90s, I have ridden the wave of the digital revolution and seen the landscape of content shift and ever-increase. As an operator, I have worked on features, and documentaries for National Geographic and PBS, as well as smaller, short-form pieces

DoP/DIRECTOR/

I am able to work with any size crew or scope of shoot. As a director, i can show up with camera sound and complete smaller projects soup-to-nuts (www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLMm2…)

As a DoP i have planned and been in charge of a seven person camera crew with ACs and PAs to pull of prank videos, this one with over 15mil views (FB)(www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Up20…). For this video, the director and producers came in from LA, I had hired the local crew and supplied all of the camera gear for this shoot.

Filming verite and documentary style means I am acutely aware of always trying to find the story in an ever changing environment and situation, no two shoot will be the same. The goal is to provide the best quality footage in any setting. Like having to climb a tree to get he shot in this piece on the DC Women’s March (www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyNX1…). Film is ultimately a collaborative medium, everyone wins wins when we all work to make something as good as it can.

Currently, I am working on an ongoing series with Bloomberg and another with Samsung creating short form pieces of online content.

My Previous clients include: Adobe, Bloomberg, Brooklyn Brewery. Discovery Channel, Disney, Ford, Greygoose, General Mills, Harvard University, Hennessy, Hershey’s, Intel, Johnson&Johnson, Marvel, McLaren, National Basketball Association, National Geographic, Old Forester, Pfizer, Ring, Samsung, Turner Broadcast, Walgreens
