Jenn Nkiru is a new and exciting British Director working between Europe and the USA. With a uniquely identifiable visual style and special interest in sound design, she graduated with an M.F.A in Film Directing from Howard University, Washington DC. Her most recent credit includes EN VOGUE, a short film produced under her production company NKIRU NKIRU and commissioned by Channel 4 in the UK. EN VOGUE earnt her, her first directorial broadcasts credit. The film is currently generating a buzz within the global film festival circuit, being shown at the 2014 Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival and requested at the Hamptons International Film Festival in New York, The Festival of Contemporary Visual Art – Videonale in Germany, the 9th Pravo Ljudski Film Festival in Sarajevo and The Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. In addition to En Vogue, notable previous directing credits include a short film titled “ALIEN” made in 2004 in conjunction with the BBC and The Tate museum in London as well as spec video for Saatchi & Saatchi and an online webisode for The GRAMMYs. She previously worked alongside well- known commercial directors such as Diane Martel on projects with Beyoncé and Levis.
