My name is Juliette and I am a Front End Developer and vocalist/musician originally hailing from the Windy City of Chicago. I migrated out to Los Angeles where I spent some time performing (and hiking in the Mountains and hills of SoCal) with my band FireBug before arriving at my current destination, New Orleans.

After putting much thought into the possibilities of a 2nd career, I decided that the best option for me was to jump into the world of coding. After spending a year or so learning online about the basics of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, command line tools, and Github, I decided to get serious by signing up for the Treehouse Front End Tech Degree Program (https://teamtreehouse.com/tec…).

Being a student of the Front End Tech Degree Program has helped me to build what I believe to be a solid foundation for what is required of a front end web developer. It has also taught me a valuable lesson: that learning is a journey that was never meant to end!
