I alternate between photography, editorial graphic design and writer, and occasionally do all three at once. As a designer I have worked on blue-chip below-the-line advertising accounts, as well as several magazines. As a writer I am an internationally published author of five books on topics such as animation and filmmaking, and a freelance film and music journalist, in print and online. Apart from studying it at art school, photography primarily served as an extension of my writing projects, but in the last four years music photography has become my primary activity, shooting mostly concerts and gigs, and occasional portraits, for a variety of UK and US online outlets, and as a house photographer for several renowned London venues.
