SAY Award Title Sequence for TV Broadcast

We produced a potted history animation that took a look back at the Scottish Album of the Year Award’s decade of achievements and an animated title sequence for BBC Scotland broadcast.
The animation provides a dynamic snapshot of the SAY Award’s impact, the artists it has supported and acknowledged and its inclusivity of Scottish arts beyond music, such as historic music venues and contemporary craftspeople, which could easily act as a high end, stand alone advert for all that the award programme has done for the creative industries in Scotland over its tenure.
Using the award’s logo hexagon form we created ten hexagons and filled them with items and footage specific to each year, from 2012 to 2021, and arranged them as a floating mobile form, the hexagons spun around to reveal various objects.
