Physical Packaging Layout for Raf Saperra (CD, Rave Cassette & Vinyl)
As a graphic designer, creating a 16-page inlay, rave cassette design, and LP vinyl sleeve for Raf Saperra's latest album was a challenging yet rewarding project. With my expertise in cover art design, I was able to create visually stunning and cohesive designs that effectively communicated the album's theme and enhanced the overall listening experience for the audience.
To begin with, I worked closely with Raf Saperra to understand the album's concept, theme, and visual style. Based on this, I created a series of design concepts that were refined and narrowed down to the final designs.
The 16-page inlay design incorporated various design elements such as photographs, illustrations, and typography to create a visually engaging and informative design. The layout formatting was carefully considered, ensuring that the design was professional, easy to read, and informative. I also included all the necessary information, such as track listings, album credits, and liner notes, in a visually pleasing and organised manner.
For the rave cassette design, I drew inspiration from the UK rave scene and incorporated bold, vibrant, and abstract design elements to create a design that stood out and perfectly captured the energy of the music. The layout was carefully considered, ensuring that the design was suitable for print and that all the necessary information was included in a legible and visually pleasing manner.
The LP vinyl sleeve design was another challenging project that required careful consideration of the vinyl's dimensions and shape. I incorporated various design elements such as typography, illustrations, and color palettes to create a cohesive and visually stunning design that effectively communicated the album's theme.
Overall, creating a 16-page inlay, rave cassette design, and LP vinyl sleeve for Raf Saperra's latest album was a challenging yet rewarding project that required careful consideration of various design elements such as layout formatting, typography, color palettes, and professionalism.
