A surrealist stills and video piece for Coeval Magazine.
The distortion of normality is captured through a study of surrealism that explores the embrace of irrelevance and what is illogical. Absurdity is celebrated in this homage to Dorothea Tanning’s Hôtel du Pavot, Chambre 202. The domestic room is reconfigured to create a sense of comfort, the banal qualities suggest normality whilst perception is challenged to throw the viewer off into a surreal world. The body weaves through the environment, both testing the obstacles and adapting to the changes.
