100ft of Distance

I had some 16mm film stock to hand when lockdown started, and using it to shoot scenes around the flat kept me (kinda) sane.

When I was assembling some kind of edit, Daniel Avery surprise dropped his amazing Love + Light album, and it really spoke to me; tracks like 'A Story in E5' (my actual postcode), and 'London Island' really seemed to soundtrack my experience of lockdown, but it was 'Pure Life' that perfectly soundtracked my film. I sent Dan a cut and we decided to put it out there.
