One of the four animated videos I created for the Australian composer Mark Ferris. The stylized music and the classical poem by Goethe to which this song is set called for some 18th- early 19th century period flare, so I took my inspiration in German porcelain figurines, Fragonard's rococo paintings and or molu clocks, one of which becomes the central piece of the animation. All the assets were hand sketched and then painted digitally to be animated in Adobe After Effect and Adobe Animate. A link to the video and some asset sketches alongside with stills attached: porcelain girl, baroque hand-painted clouds, the floral clocks, the piano and some porcelain painted by me which didn't make its way into the film
